On Saturday, October 13 the Defiance Baseball team will be assisting in the disposal of Hazardous Home Waste Materials. In conjunction with Johns Manville, LaFarge of Paulding and Environmental Recycling of Bowling Green, among others - this will be the Niners sixth year volunteering their time. The event is designed to allow residents of Defiance, Fulton, Paulding and Williams counties to have a safe and convenient way to dispose of potentially harmful household materials that could damage the environment.

Residents of Defiance, Paulding, Fulton and Williams counties may drop off their hazardous materials at the south parking lot of Johns Manville’s Plant 8 on 925 Carpenter Road in Defiance.
