A November to Remember

By the time December 1st rolled around, the Defiance College baseball team was finally able to dust off their razors - as they had left them untouched from October 31st through November 30th. In an effort to raise money for the Fort Defiance Humane Society, the DC Baseball Yellow Jackets attempted to raise awareness through growth. A No-Shave November Fundraiser was held, and it was certainly a success. DC Baseball's HuMANly Month Fundraiser collected forty-nine (49) different sponsors - all contributing to a total donation of $975!

Sophomore Catcher Brandon Riley, was voted the winner of the Best Beard Award - narrowly edging out Freshman Gary Levengood. OAOTD would like to thank all the sponsors who helped to make this past November a month not to be forgotten - but ultimately an enormous thank you goes out to all the participants, the Bearded Jackets! Thank you for your efforts gentlemen, may your beards go down in HuMANly Month History!
