Gary threw the Costa's on and recapped his winter break with the Diamond:
OAOTD: What was the best thing about being home for three weeks?
GL: Mentally de-stressing from school work and seeing family and friends for the first time in four and a half months, oh and can't forget the 80 degree temperature either.
OAOTD: What was the first thing you did when you got home?
GL: Went fishing of course, caught a red fish and a trout in the first day - salt water style.
OAOTD: Did you have a job at home? If no, what took up most of your free time?
GL: Besides throwing and hitting, it was mainly fishing and some small game hunting - bagged a couple coyotes.
OAOTD: Any family holiday traditions to speak of?
GL: Ever year Santa comes to my house and reads the Night Before Christmas to my little brother, Jack. And he brought me an iPad, so big brother was happy too.
OAOTD: Did you have a tough time finding a place to workout, throw or hit?
GL: Not at all, my Dad and I put up a cage in our backyard a few years back so I was able to hit whenever I wanted, usually was 4-5 times a week.
OAOTD: What was the first thing you did when you got back to campus?
GL: Went around and saw my teammates, then we strapped on the skates and hit the ice rink behind the dorms.
OAOTD: What should be the first movie the team watches on the bus trip to Ft. Myers? Why?
GL: Major League 2, hilarious movie and I love the transition that Rube Baker makes behind the dish. And who doesn't love Wild Thing.
